  • Always use a Gerbing's battery harness or modified BMW plug to power your clothing. This insures full power to the clothing and a solid, trouble free connection.
  • Do not adapt or modify Gerbing's plugs.
  • Keep battery hook-up plug always clean fromdirt

 

  • DO NOT USE GERBING’S HEATED CLOTHING WHEN POWER PLUG IS CORRODED! Replace plug immediately! The electrical resistance of the corroded plug will cause it to heat up dangerously. So regularly check the plugs for damage or corrosion.
